GAME DRIVES;
In Murchison falls there are two forms of game drives carried out by tourists, the day game drives and night game drives, so in preference to some packages the night game drive is the most tourist’s priority because during day some of the animals or predators like tree lions, leopards are sensitive to sun or heat so they hide in bushes and forests.
Giving a hard time to track them during day, but during night they come out to hunt and feast on the resting Bushbucks and kobs with in the savannah, which helps to view predators while in action.
In this amazing activity, a tour guide uses a jeep to drive through the Buligi Circuit which consists of the Victoria Nile, Queens, Albert Nile, accordingly these are the most preferred and desired routes by tourists while carrying out a night game drive.
These tracks gave us an effective moment to view almost the the “BIG FIVE” animals, tree Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Leopards.
BOAT CRUISE;
An amazing activity carried out along the Murchison falls which has two types of boat cruises, “the bottom of the falls boat cruise” and “the Albert Delta launch cruise”, This activity takes place in the morning hours where some tourists have to take the bottom of the falls boat cruise which usually starts from the paraa jety and the boat slowly cruises east wards along an archytypically African strech of the Nile, you can eaily view Borassus palms, acacia woodlands, and mahogany stands.
After crusing and eye catching some features, you will dock on a small bay, 100 metres away from crushing waterfall.
Some might ask on why boat cruises are preferred most? so this because some animals like crocodiles, hippopotamus want stay or spend of their lives under water or near water hence giving a full opportunity of viewing these animals in greatest terminology, not only these animals but also in dry seasons the savanna animals tend to gather along the river banks to drink water.
